John McCain
Is Part Of The Economic Crisis
And he has no clue how to fix it
The fact is John McCain does not have the ability or power to fix this economic crisis. Too many people have watched as McCain does his regular shuffle. First he declared that the basics of the American economy are sound and strong. The words no sooner left his lips when the economic crisis robbed the headlines right out from underneath him. So he handles it by helping to ensure the failure of the bail-out deal in Washington last week. McCain’s behavior is inexcusable considering he and the elite conservative group with whom he associates helped cause the current meltdown.
Deregulation of the financial services sector of the nation’s economy is the main contributor to the mortgage meltdown and resulting dive southward of the American economy. It was McCain and his economic adviser Phil Gramm who campaigned for the deregulation policies that are now crippling the nation’s coffers. McCain’s friend Rick Davis had deeply rooted connections to Freddie Mac.
McCain's economic chest pounding is nothing more than noise pollution because his policies, values and beliefs are not the salve that America needs. Careful analysis of McCain’s positions clearly illustrate that they will only make the whole damn thing worse.
McCain never was a populist and he isn’t one now, regardless of what he says. His message has not changed and his economic policies still favor America’s wealthy elite.
