McCain Doesn't "get" Internet
And Hates Bloggers
"I'm an illiterate who has to rely on my wife for all
of the assistance that I can get," McCain said
Our economy, the whole world economy, cannot survive without the Internet, and cyber-security continues to be one our most serious national security threats. It's inconceivable that someone wants to be our president and our commander in chief and doesn't know how to send an e-mail. McCain has said he relies on his wife and staff to “work the computer for him” and that he doesn't use e-mail.
“John McCain is aware of the internet". This declaration of the 72-year old Republican Presidential nominee's understanding came from none other than McCain tech aide Mark Soohoo. With this statement, McCain confirms that the Senator is indeed computer illiterate, and it highlights another key issue: McCain's abysmal lack of understanding of the world economy. (Not to mention his lack of understanding of his OWN country that ranks a meager 15th in the world when it comes to homes with broadband access). Watch McCain and his staff get taken to the cleaners by Tracy Russo, former Internet Director of the John Edwards campaign.

Rove says McCain can’t use a keyboard because of his war injuries. At about 2 minutes into the video. Unbelievable. |

Mark Soohoo (in sport jacket) argues that you can’t understand the military without having served, but you can understand computers without having used one. |
