McCain Disrespects Minorities
McCain voted against a national holiday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
For many years McCain:
- rejected a Martin Luther King Jr. holiday
- had many flip-flops on the Confederate Flag issue in 2000
- closely associated with a white supremacist named Richard Quinn and hired him as a political advisor in 2000
- openly praised David Duke
- Sold t-shirts praising the assassination of Abraham Lincoln
- Wrote for a magazine (Southern Partisan) that reminded us that slave masters just really weren’t all that bad
Now McCain says his position has "evolved," yet he continues to oppose civil rights laws.
